For example Yorkshire terriers are more prone to plaque buildup. Regular cleaning has a tremendous amount of benefits to the longevity of your dog. Dental cleaning at our salon is a cosmetics treatment and it is not meant as veterinary treatment. If your dog's teeth show signs of periodontitis or any deviation from normal, we recommend a visit to the veterinarian. Our goal is to maintain your pets healthy teeth and prevent more serious issues down the line.
Veterinarian dental cleaning is mostly, if not exclusively, done under anesthesia. They also provide X-ray of the mouth and teeth.
